ATTENTION HIGH SCHOOL BOYS BASKETBALL

We will need 5 committed players to contact Coach Pinkley by Friday September 5th in order to keep our schedule. September 8th we will contact opponents and let them know we have high school girls only. High School boys committing to play commit to practice twice a week that will be scheduled. As last season 5 boys must be in the school on game day by 10:00 or the game will be cancelled. We love seeing our Dragons compete however we currently have 2 solid players and 3 possible. Please contact coach Pinkley (The group text is on group me, look on school facebook page to join) immediately if you are willing to commit – if not we will move forward with girls.

Thank you

Hanna Public Schools Implements “No Cell Phone Policy” Personal Electronic Devices in Accordance with SB 139 which mandates all districts in the State of Oklahoma adopt for the 2025-2026 school year.

This policy enacts a ban on the usage of any personal electronic device from “First Bell to Last Bell”. It specifically states that prohibited items include but are not limits to any personal device capable of connecting to the internet or having built-in- Wi-Fi such as cell phones, smart watches, smart headphones, laptops, tablets and smart glasses. School issued devices are the only permitted devices allowed under the new policy.

Hanna Public Schools has adopted a “No Cell Phone Policy”, as mandated for all schools. This decision comes in a response to a genuine concern for the well-being of our students and our commitment to fostering a safe, focused, and respectful learning environment.

Starting the FIRST day of school, Hanna Schools will require students turn OFF and securely store their phones out of site during school hours. Students who need to contact a parent/guardian can report to the main office and personnel will assist them appropriately. Parents can contact their child(ren) through the office.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to discuss the “no cell phone policy” and its importance at home with their children. A collaborative effort between the school and home will significantly contribute to the success of this policy and instill in our students the value of responsible technology use.

If you have any questions, please contact the District Superintendent.

Handbooks are located on the school website, very few changes from previous years. We did not send a hardcopy home with each child; these normally get tossed (lost). If you would like a hard copy, please call the office and we will send one home with your student.

Please contact the office 918 802-2311 and let us know if you DO NOT want your child’s picture published on any social media. We will remove your child from pictures so this can be observed.

Thank you
